Diets

Okay okay. I've GOT to blog. Let's just talk about diets for a minute or 2, can we? I lost 12lbs on the cookie diet (now endorsed by ...you guessed it, snookie.) Anyways, it was really friggin hard. But worked. I just clicked on people.com to see the latest celebrity news. 1. Aerosmith and JLO are going to be idol judges. 2. Heidi and Spencer are getting divorced . 3. Drew Carrey has lost 80lbs since January. This is how he's doing it. NO carbs. Absolutely none. No crackers, no pizza, no corn, no beans, no starches of any kind. He has egg whites in the morning, greek yogurt, and cut fruit. For dinner, he has grilled chicken and steamed veggies. Furthermore, he only drinks water. NO soda,no tea, no COFFEE. Only water. I wonder how fast the weight would come off if I started this? I wonder how many people would put up with my biotchiness after a few days of zilch carbs. Shall we see??! And, I just bought that Georgia Pecan COFFEE from the fresh market!!! I think this is something I will be starting.Oh, and he does are you ready...45 minutes of CARDIO a day. Is this doable??! It's going to have to be. I'm tired of the flab. I'm tired of wearing blah things. I have an inner beauty just waiting underneath all my fatsy parts. So, we'll see how it goes okay? I mean, if you get on people.com and see Drew Carrey's picture..you will wigout. It's a promise folks. I'm 5 feet 1inch. I'm supposed to be skinny. And, pretty :0) So, hang on for the ride. Starting weight...uh. Y'all ready for this.? The other day it was 157 so we'll go with that for a starting weight. I hope like heck it isn't more but it's been a few days since I weighed.
I know what I'm having on break...egg whites and grilled chicken!

Fat hugs,
Kimmie

About Me

My photo
Welcome to my blog. It's a dedicated place for my book reviews, criticism, and love of all things bookish. I am a mom of 4 busy kids that uses reading as my, "thing." I find that reading books turns off all (okay, mostly all?) of the noise of my world and lets me get away for a bit. Reading helps me escape the reality of the piles of laundry that will never be done, the dust bunnies that I swear will one day grow legs, and the emails and outlook calendar that occupy my life Monday- Friday during working hours. Reading is therapy for me and always has been. I've always been a big dork, introverted, creative, and reflective. If I won the lottery tomorrow, I'd probably open up a used bookstore with my standard poodle somewhere on the side of the mountain and surround myself by others who enjoy passing their time reading. Until then, I'll keep on keeping on. And, I'll settle for reading when I can. Which, I try to fit in as much as possible. Cheers to your busy life and mine, doing the best we can, as often as we can.
