37. I'd love to learn how to play the guitar
38. I would have loved to have been an art teacher out in the boonies.
39. my dream house has a library in it. You know, the floor to ceiling type. Oh, and a big floor to ceiling window with heavy curtains on each side.
40.My favorite color is yellow but pink is a close 2nd
41.I don't understand people who drive slow in the fast lane. And, those people bother me
42. I love to read bumper stickers and try to figure out people's personalized plates
43. I think I should have grown up in the 70s- I love everything vintage
44. I hate having the tub separate from the shower...mostly because I love shower curtains.
45. I hate cooking but don't mind baking.
46.I'm horrible when it comes to cleaning out the fridge
47. french fries bring me to my knees.
48. I love the song "pill" by pink...for some reason, I feel like I can sing it with understanding and empathy.
49. I hated my 7th grade keyboarding teacher, she was such a bitch. But, I'm really thankful for her too...she's probably long gone from this earth now, but I'm a very very fast typer. (is that a word?)
50. I miss the days when I could veg out on the couch ALL day with nothing significant to do besides watch TLC or lifetime movies.
51.I used to take my sanity for granted, but since I've started my new job...I realize that some people really are NUTS.
52.I really couldn't care less about politics and feel like those with the most money make all the decisions for those with none.
53. My biggest struggles in life are with religion and spirituality
Gotta go...time to tie up some loose ends at work.

Ready to go home to my loves...

54-100 to be continued......

About Me

My photo
Welcome to my blog. It's a dedicated place for my book reviews, criticism, and love of all things bookish. I am a mom of 4 busy kids that uses reading as my, "thing." I find that reading books turns off all (okay, mostly all?) of the noise of my world and lets me get away for a bit. Reading helps me escape the reality of the piles of laundry that will never be done, the dust bunnies that I swear will one day grow legs, and the emails and outlook calendar that occupy my life Monday- Friday during working hours. Reading is therapy for me and always has been. I've always been a big dork, introverted, creative, and reflective. If I won the lottery tomorrow, I'd probably open up a used bookstore with my standard poodle somewhere on the side of the mountain and surround myself by others who enjoy passing their time reading. Until then, I'll keep on keeping on. And, I'll settle for reading when I can. Which, I try to fit in as much as possible. Cheers to your busy life and mine, doing the best we can, as often as we can.
